Scary Movie Review

I’m the type of person that likes to see movies that make me jump up because of the horror. It wasn’t that long ago that I saw the movie [Rec]. It’s about a TV reporter and cameraman that go into a building hoping on catching a good story but they end up getting locked inside with a contagious virus going on inside. [Rec] has a multiple set of moods as the virus spreads during the movie. It goes from being happy and exciting to violent, suspenseful, chaotic, and ironic. It starts off happy and exciting because of the setting at a fire station where the TV reporter is interviewing fire fighters about their lifestyles as fire fighters. The reporter is pumped and excited about the great story they hope to get. Soon enough they go to the building where the infection is spreading (without them knowing what's going on) and the violence and suspense kicks in. After a while when the virus begins to spread out faster everyone begins to panic and chaos blows out everywhere in the building. The virus spreads though blood and saliva. I you get bit by someone that's infected you become a possessed individual, joining the rest., no matter how minor the bite my be. The best parts in the movie are the ironic scenes because when you least expect something to happen, it happens and it blows you away with suspenseful fear. For example, in the parts where a small group of people are stuck in darkness with just a video-camera with night vision which is the only type of thing they can use as "eyes". [Rec] has numerous amounts of people but they all have a similar type of character. They’re all concerned, frightened, and they all seem to care for their team members, family, and/or friends. The ending is crazy! You think that there'll be a survivor but one of the possessed individuals kills her or at least that's what I thought. This movie is simply to watch for; anyone what likes a spark of terror in their life, will like this movie. If you like this one I definitely   recommend [Rec] 2.
